KEY TO SUCCESS

Williams Brothers Management Group works with many subcultures of entertainment. To stay ahead in the music industry, lots of research has to be performed. When WBMG works with music artists, it’s important for the company to be aware of all the trends, as it relates to how music is being purchased. The
Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is a key source for staying updated on both shipment and purchasing trends of recorded music in the United States. Research is huge when it comes down to marketing a brand, an artist, or a product. Simply put, business minus research equals downfall.

RIAA gives WBMG a clear understanding of the law against unauthorized copying of music. Piracy has been and still is a major issue in this day and time. As a manager of music artists, both the manager and the artist will be affected by piracy.  No one wants something they worked hard on to be stolen, so as an artist manager, you want to be well aware of what avenues to take for maximum profit.

The city of Memphis is a concert and summit entertainment hotspot. Every year huge concerts are held throughout the city, which gives new talent a platform to shine. To be more specific, these platforms include Africa in April, Memphis in May, and Beale Street Music Festival. These major events give way to artist managers and artists alike. Managers can promote their artists, as well as find new talent. Needless to say, these events bring out huge names in the entertainment industry.

Williams Brothers Management Group target market is the unaware or the close-minded individual. There is lots of blind talent in Memphis, TN. Many individuals have what it takes as it relates to talent, but don’t have a clue how to use it to benefit them. WBMG creates vision for the blind and a path for the lost.
